My lesson for today: In going to college, one of the initial communications you receive from your instructor is a brief intro as to who they are & what they expect from the course. If you're good, the next piece of communication you'll receive will come in the form of a syllabus outlining the path of the course. When it will start and end & what is expected throughout the process.

As a student your initial idea & maybe expectation of the course will change by the end of it, possibly several times. That instructor you were afraid to have often becomes a lifelong mentor & the instructor you heard was so easy, you tried so hard to get may turn out to be a terror!
Furthermore, even your own communication with your peers WILL evolve over the span of the course BUT if you hang in there striving for success, no matter if the instructor changes the syllabus several times or even if you don't completely understand what the instructor is doing, by the end of the course it all comes full circle.
So I say, while in this course (whatever that may be for each of you)...
1.) RELAX! There is a master plan that you don't always have to know and/or understand.
2.) But rather trust the instructor knows what he/she is doing.
3.) Don't get lost in scenarios or hypothetical situations or even what you hear among your peers! Because I've learned as quick as one person says A, they will say B, like A never came before.
4.) Be quiet and prayerful, especially when your peers begin to murmur. You'll understand it better by and by.
5.) Tread the path set before you (often those you start with may not be who you end with) with confidence in your "instructor,"
6.) And finally learn as you go. You'll need it sooner rather than later!
